2010 – 2019

A very small boys squad in 2010 fought very hard and upheld the SLCXC tradition of success finishing the regular season at 11-10.  John Ausel had a break through season recording a 15:57 at the Penn Track Invitational and finishing the regular season with just one regular season loss.  He went on to finished 3rd at the Lancaster Lebanon League Championships followed by 10th place finished at the PIAA District 3 Championships. He finished out the season with a trip to the PIAA State Championships.

The ladies recorded a very impressive 19-2 regular season record and a 2nd place finish at the Lancaster Lebanon League Championships.  League medalists for the ladies included Jillian Eberly (19th), Beka Linde (21st), Katie Eckman (22nd), and Rachael Carins (25th).

In the summer of 2012, Craig Ausel took over for Coach Weaver.  With a strong group of returning ladies, the girls finished the regular season at 21-0. The final victory coming on the last day of the season with Junior, Kaitlyn Ashley holding on as Solanco’s 6th runner and breaking a 25-25 tie to secure the regular season championship.  The boy’s squad faced with youth finished the regular season at 12-9.  Top League Championship finishers included Noah Brady (18th), Essi Glah-Fisher (20th), Jillian Eberly (22nd), Rachael Cairns (24th) and Beka Linde (26th).

The 2013 season produced a 15-6 regular season record for the ladies and a 11-10 record for the boys.  Freshman Morgan Perry was the top SLCXC performer at the Lancaster Leabon League Championships with a 7th place finish followed by Essi Glah-Fisher (22nd) and Natilie Crum (25th).  The boys were paced by strong performances by Noah Brady (9th) and Liam Hodgson (15th).  Noah would also finish strong at the PIAA District 3 Championships to earn a trip to the PIAA State Championship race.

The 2014 ladies started the season with 2 losses at the very first race of the season but bounce back by finishing the season without a loss.  They would finish 19-2 to finish 2nd in the regular season standings.  The girls would finish 2nd at the Lancaster Lebanon League Championships with strong races from Cortney Johnson (2nd), Morgan Perry (15th), Natalie Crum (17th) and Essi Glah-Fisher (30th).  The boys finished the regular season at 14-7 with strong finishes by the first 3 runners all season long. Noah Brady, Kyle Munro, and Liam Hodgson placed in the top five places all season long. Kyle and Noah would finish the season strong with medaling finishes at the Lancaster Lebanon Championships at 13th and 16th places respectively.

The 2015 boys competed hard to finish the season at 10-11.  The young squad was led by LL All-Star, district medalist (20th), and PIAA State Qualifier, Liam Hodgson.  Liam would complete his career as a 3 time LL league all-star an LL scholar athlete.  The young 2015 boys squad was comprised of 50% freshmen and sophomores.The 2015 ladies squad finished the regular season at 13-8.  The squad was led by Senior, Essi Glah-Fisher and Juniors, Morgan Perry and Cortney Johnson.  Cortney medaled at both the LL Championships (7th) and the PIAA District Championships (18th).  Her place at the D3 race earned her her 2nd consecutive trip to the PIAA State Championships
