Track & Field Alumni Night @ Varsity Track Meet May 4, 2026
Come out on May 4th (4pm – 6pm) to the Art Harrington Track Stadium and watch the 2026 Solanco Varsity Track team compete. Visit the alumni visitors tent near the finish line to share stories with former coaches, teammates, and friends. We will also be inducting our 2026 Track & Filed Hall of Fame Class. We encourage all alumni to attend!
SCC&TAA 1 Hour Distance Challenge June 13, 2026
This annual event is a great opportunity to come out with family, friends and alumni for a night of fun. Our current XC & track alumni, family and friends form relay teams to walk, jog, or run for an hour. This event is for those in shape and those just want to walk and talk. Even if you don’t walk, jog, or run, we encourage all alumni to come out and visit with Har, Waggs, Coach Rhodes and other SLCXC legends. 2025 will also feature activities and games for families and children during the relay. Annual Scholarship Fund Drive June 1 – October 1
Our annual fund drive to support the Rhodes, Harrington and Waggoner Scholarships. Alumni, parents, friends, and businesses sponsor signs that are displayed at all home XC and track meets. Dedicate a sign in honor or in memory of a current runner, coach, parent, team, or teammate. 2024 sign sponsorship details and links will be posted HERE by May 1st.
Annual Team Scrimmage, Alumni & Team Picnic –August 22, 2026
This annual event typically includes a Varsity Scrimmage, Alumni Race, and Family-Team-Alumni Picnic. Specific details will be posted HERE by July 1st.
SCC&TAA @ Solanco Fair September 16-18, 2026
Stop by our association booth at the Solanco Fair. Visit our display of SLC XC & Track photos of years gone by! Alumni from the 60’s though 2023 will be there to welcome you.
Cross Country Alumni Reunion @ Varsity Home Race October 6, 2026
Alumni are encouraged to attend the final SLCXC race of the season. Alumni can gather at the large white tent near the start and finish line for refreshments and stories of races with teammates of the past. We encourage all alumni to attend. We will also induct a new member to the Solanco Cross Country Hall of Fame.
John Waggoner Jr. High Cross Country Invitational October 2, 2026
Come out at 4pm to watch the future XC stars of the Lancaster Lebanon League compete at the Waggs Invite. Coach Waggs and Coach Engleman will most likely be the PIAA starters at this event, come out and say hello.
